Warm Touch of Personel Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 with the Children of Kenyam District to Realize a Prosperous Papua

Nduga, Papua — Realizing that the future of Papua rests in the hands of the young generation, Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 carried out a dialogical patrol with a humanist approach, greeting and building closeness with children around the Nduga Regent’s Office, Kenyam District, Nduga Regency, on Friday (5/9/2025).

Led by Ipda Arief Rahmansyah with Bripda Natia, Bripda Fauziah Dena, and Bharatu Sopyan, this activity is not just a security patrol. The personnel actively approach children who have just come home from school, have light dialogue, and convey important messages about discipline, maintaining cleanliness, and the spirit of seeking knowledge.

For the Task Force, children are not only objects of protection, but also important subjects in building sustainable peace in Papua. They are invited to understand their own role as a generation that will continue the ideals of peace and regional progress.

“This patrol is more than just maintaining security; it’s about building hope. These children must feel protected and valued as the next generation,” said Ipda Arief Rahmansyah.

In an atmosphere full of familiarity, children show high enthusiasm. They listened attentively, laughed cheerfully, and even engaged in light conversations that warmed up the atmosphere. This is a clear evidence that the humanist approach is more effective in building trust than the coercive approach.

Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Brigadier General Police Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized the importance of social investment for Papuan children.

“The state must be present not only when there is conflict, but also when children need motivation, protection, and encouragement to continue learning. These children are the hope of all of us,” said Brigadier General Faizal, who on that occasion was accompanied by Deputy head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum.

Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations for Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., emphasized that activities like this are part of the great commitment of the Task Force in building Papua from within, starting from the hearts of children.

“We want to form a healthy social environment. Children who grow up in peace will bring big changes in the future. That is why we must continue to do dialogical and educational activities like this,” said Kombes Yusuf.

The people of Kenyam District also welcomed this activity. Parents who witnessed the interaction between the apparatus and children hope that similar activities can be carried out continuously, as part of the effort to create a young generation of Papua who are full of enthusiasm, positivity, and peace.

Through this heartwarming approach, Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 again shows that protecting Papua means building its people — and the future of Papua begins today, from those hopeful little hands.
