Humanitarian Outreach by Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Distributing Food Supplies in Kulirik Village

Puncak Jaya, May 3, 2025 — Personnel from the Public Relations Unit of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 carried out a humanitarian outreach by distributing food and basic necessities to residents of Kulirik Village, Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Friday (May 2). The activity reflects the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to building trust and strengthening ties with local communities in areas of operation.

The food aid packages, consisting of rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, sugar, and snacks, were handed directly to local residents, including the elderly and children. The event was met with enthusiastic responses, as smiles and words of gratitude were shared by the villagers toward the Task Force personnel.

The Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos, S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by the Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that such efforts are part of a broader strategy of persuasive engagement.

“We want to show that our presence here is not only to maintain security but also to ease the burden on the people. Peace must be felt together—not just spoken, but demonstrated through real actions,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.

Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Comm. Adarma Sinaga, echoed the sentiment, underlining the importance of humanitarian initiatives as a key component of the mission.

“We don’t want to be known only for our uniforms and weapons. Our presence here also carries a message of peace and humanity. We aim to be friends to the people of Papua,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations for Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., confirmed that similar activities will continue in other operational areas.

“We are committed to finding more ways to engage with communities, and humanitarian outreach like today is one of them. This is also part of our effort to maintain a peaceful and stable environment,” he explained.

The event concluded with a communal prayer and a message from the officers encouraging residents to uphold unity and safeguard their neighborhoods. The warmth shared during the gathering underscored the growing spirit of peace in Puncak Jaya.
