Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz Strengthens Community Bonds at Halal Bihalal and 79th Anniversary of Muslimat NU in Paniai

Paniai — The Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz-2025, Paniai Sector, participated in a halal bihalal gathering and the celebration of the 79th Anniversary (Harlah) of Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), held warmly and peacefully at the PCNU Paniai Hall on Sunday (April 27, 2025).

The Head of Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz-2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., together with the Deputy Head of Operations, Senior Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., attended the event. In his remarks, Brigadier General Faizal emphasized that the gathering aimed to strengthen the bond between Muslimat NU members and security forces in Paniai Regency. Furthermore, it served as a crucial moment to reinforce coordination efforts to maintain public security and order (kamtibmas) in the region.

“Togetherness through events like this serves as a vital foundation for building trust between the community and law enforcement. With strong mutual trust, efforts to maintain peace and order will become even more effective. We hope this synergy will continue to thrive in support of a safe and peaceful Paniai,” Brigadier General Faizal stated.

The event, which began at 2:00 PM Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT), was also attended by personnel from the Action Unit of Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz-2025, led by Second Police Inspector Nofri Surya Rossa, along with military personnel from Infantry Battalion 756 under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel of Infantry Gunawan Wibisono, S.H. Their presence symbolized the commitment to maintaining harmony and security within the community.

The Head of Public Relations of the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz-2025, Senior Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., ensured that the entire series of activities ran smoothly without any security disturbances, including potential threats from armed criminal groups (KKB).

“Alhamdulillah, the event proceeded safely, orderly, and warmly. This demonstrates that through the solidarity between the community and security forces, Paniai can maintain a peaceful and stable environment. We hope this model of collaboration inspires other regions,” said Commissioner Yusuf.

The halal bihalal event concluded with a collective prayer for the safety of the nation and the Papua region, followed by a friendly gathering to further strengthen ties between community members, religious leaders, and law enforcement personnel.
