Papuan Mothers Smile as Bripda Rafly, Member of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Offers Them Umbrellas

PUNCAK JAYA – As part of efforts to create a conducive public security situation in Papua, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 conducted a humanitarian act by distributing umbrellas to Papuan mothers who were selling goods under the scorching sun at the Old Market in Mulia City, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Monday (April 21, 2025).
Bripda Rafly, a member of the Mobile Brigade Unit (Satbrimob) of the Papua Police who is assigned to the Operation Peace Cartenz-2025in Puncak Jaya, personally handed out the umbrellas to the market vendors. One of the recipients was Lentera Wenda, a Papuan mother who sells goods at the market on a daily basis.
The Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Police Brigadier General Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that the action was a tangible form of the Task Force’s presence in embracing the community.
“The presence of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 in Papua is to bring peace to the people,” said Brigadier General Faizal.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., urged the community in Puncak Jaya Regency to continue maintaining public security and order (kamtibmas) to create a safe and peaceful region.
This humanitarian act by Bripda Rafly was warmly welcomed by the Papuan mothers. Their smiles and words of gratitude proved that even small acts of care can have great meaning for the community. Through these simple yet heartfelt gestures, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 continues to demonstrate its commitment to building trust and fostering peace in Papua.
