Leading an Assistance Visit to Yahukimo’s Tindak Post, Damai Cartenz Senior Officers Ensure Personnel Readiness and Humanitarian Spirit

Yahukimo – Several key officials from the Damai Cartenz 2025 Operation carried out an assistance visit to two security posts located in Yahukimo Regency: the Kali Buatan Tindak Task Force Post and the Sekla Tindak Task Force Post, on Monday (April 7).
The visit aimed to observe the personnel’s performance in the field while also providing motivation, inspecting facilities and infrastructure, and delivering healthcare services to the on-duty members.
The assistance mission was led directly by the Head of Operational Management (Kaminops) of Damai Cartenz 2025, Police Commissioner (AKBP) Cliffry Steiny Lapian, S.I.K., accompanied by the Head of the Intelligence Task Force AKBP Sukamat, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., and the Head of the Operational Support Task Force AKBP Agus Waluyo, S.I.K.
In his address to the personnel, AKBP Cliffry emphasized the importance of maintaining solidarity and synergy among task forces during the operation.
“We are here to ensure that all personnel are prepared and remain motivated in carrying out their duties. The unity among task forces is the key to operational success in the field. We also want to provide moral support so that everyone stays focused and professional,” he stated.
Meanwhile, AKBP Sukamat highlighted the importance of a humanitarian approach in building communication with the local community. He noted that operational success depends not only on tactical strength but also on the ability of personnel to engage with community elements.
“A humanitarian approach must always be a priority in every step we take in the field. The community is our partner, not an object. Build good communication with religious leaders, community members, youth, women, churches, and tribal leaders so that our presence is accepted and contributes to stability in this region,” he said.
During the visit, AKBP Agus Waluyo also conducted an inspection of official equipment and the readiness of operational tools used at the security posts.
“We are ensuring that all equipment and official gear are in optimal condition. Equipment readiness is a critical part of operational success, as it directly relates to the safety and effectiveness of personnel in the field,” he explained.
This assistance visit is part of the ongoing efforts by the Damai Cartenz 2025 Task Force to maintain personnel readiness, as well as to foster morale and solidarity in safeguarding security in Papua, particularly in Yahukimo Regency
