Youth of Mandala Trikora Papua Appreciates MBG Program for School Children

Jayapura, March 19, 2025 – The Chairman of the Papua Province Youth of Mandala Trikora and Secretary-General of BMP-RI-Papua, Ali Kabiay, expressed full support for the Free Nutritious Food (MBG) program initiated by the government. He conveyed this support when met in Jayapura, Kota Raja, on Wednesday (19/3).

Ali Kabiay considered the MBG program to be very beneficial for the growth and health of school children in Papua. According to him, this program ensures that children receive healthy food intake according to the nutritional standards set by the government.

“If we look back, many children often skip school because they don’t have breakfast or don’t have any food to bring. However, with this program, they are more enthusiastic about coming to school because they know they will receive nutritious food that is good for their health,” said Ali Kabiay.

He also invited all parties, especially parents, to play an active role in providing good understanding to their children. This aims to prevent children from being easily influenced by certain groups with personal interests and becoming victims.

“We fully support the MBG program in Papua for the sake of a healthier and smarter future for our children,” he emphasized.”
