Yahukimo, Indonesia – Amid the demands of a high-alert operational environment, personnel of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 in Yahukimo have demonstrated remarkable dedication. Despite being stationed in a challenging region, they remain committed to observing Ramadan fasting with discipline and determination.
On Wednesday evening (March 26), a strong sense of camaraderie was evident during a collective Iftar gathering at the Yahukimo Police Headquarters Hall. The event was attended by Chief Commissioner of Police Wahyu, S.I.K., M.H., as the Head of the Tactical Task Force, accompanied by Senior Commissioner of Police Agus Waluyo, Head of the Operational Task Force, along with ODC-25 personnel assigned to the Yahukimo Regional Task Force.
Following the Iftar, the personnel gathered to watch the World Cup Qualifiers match between Indonesia and Bahrain. The atmosphere was filled with solidarity and enthusiasm, reflecting the unwavering spirit of the personnel who remain on standby for security operations.
Journalists present at the event had the opportunity to engage with several Task Force members, who shared their experiences of fasting while carrying out their duties in the field. Some admitted that fasting in an operational zone poses unique challenges, yet they see it as a source of motivation to fulfill their mission with greater dedication.
The Head of Public Relations for Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., expressed his admiration for the personnel’s commitment and integrity in maintaining their religious observances despite the demanding operational conditions.
“This proves that our personnel are not only physically resilient but also spiritually strong. Their dedication to fasting while on duty reflects their deep devotion as members of the Bhayangkara force,” said Chief Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo.
