“Our vision and mission are clear: love transcends differences. There are no distinctions—whether you’re from the mountains, the coast, or elsewhere. Today, you share food, and Haris and I will do the same. We will build this region, ensuring everyone has enough to eat,” Yunus declared, met with cheers from the crowd.

“Support me and the deputy regent as we lead Jayapura Regency for the next five years. We are here for everyone, without discrimination,” he affirmed.

Deputy Regent Haris Richard Yocku reflected on the long journey leading to their inauguration for the 2025–2030 term.
“Tears and struggles will be repaid with future success. Let’s prove that Jayapura Regency is a safe, comfortable, and peaceful place for all of us,” Haris added.
