Central Papua to Implement Free Education, Anis Labene: We Support and Are Ready to Oversee This Program

NABIRE – To enhance human resources, the Governor of Central Papua, Meki Nawipa, plans to implement a free education program in the province.

Meki announced this initiative while leading the first assembly with all civil servants of the Central Papua Provincial Government at the Old Airport, Jenderal Sudirman Street, Nabire Regency, Central Papua Province, on Friday, March 7, 2025.

This plan has received positive responses from various parties.

One of the supporters is the Chairman of the NasDem Party Caucus in the Central Papua Provincial DPR, Anis Labene, who believes this program is highly beneficial.

“That is why I strongly support this initiative,” Anis told Tribun-Papua.com in Nabire on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

On this occasion, Anis also encouraged the Central Papua Provincial Education Office to develop technical guidelines.

With clear technical guidelines, Anis stated that the program could be implemented effectively and successfully.

“Once again, in principle, we, the NasDem Caucus in the Central Papua Provincial DPR, fully support this program. Therefore, this free education initiative must be carried out properly and successfully,” he emphasized.

Anis also urged all the people of Central Papua to take full advantage of this opportunity.

“Especially the younger generation—let’s work together to make this program a success for the betterment of Central Papua’s future,” he concluded.
