Togetherness in Oksibil: A Papua Mother Shares Harvest, Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz Responds with Care

Pegunungan Bintang, March 8, 2025 – A heartwarming moment of unity and togetherness unfolded in Oksibil District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Papua Pegunungan. A Papua mother, with sincere generosity, shared her harvest with personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, reflecting the strong social bond between the community and the security forces assigned to the region.
That afternoon, Mama Elliyah, a middle-aged woman from the local community, approached the task force post carrying a noken—a traditional Papuan bag—filled with fresh cassava. With a warm smile, she handed over her farm produce to the officers on duty. Her action was not merely about sharing food but also a gesture of gratitude and care, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
“I often see the police officers protecting us here. I’m happy to share my harvest so they can also taste what we eat at home. We must help each other to keep peace and harmony,” said Mama Elliyah with sincerity.
This heartfelt gift was gratefully received by the task force personnel, including Brigadier Police Second Class Abdulrohman Wahyu Saputra, who expressed his appreciation for the kindness of the local community.
“This is an extraordinary act of love from the people. We feel accepted as part of them, and that means a lot to us,” he said.
As a token of appreciation, Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 personnel handed Mama Elliyah a box of instant noodles, symbolizing their gratitude and mutual care.
The Deputy Head of Operations (Wakaops) Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., also praised this heartwarming moment, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a harmonious relationship between the Papuan community and security forces.
“Moments like these are proof that the community and security forces can coexist in unity and humanity. The noble values demonstrated by the Papua mothers must continue to be upheld as part of our collective spirit in nation-building,” he stated.
This event reflects the humanitarian approach that Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 consistently prioritizes in maintaining security in Papua. With good communication and
