Jayapura – The role of figures in maintaining the security and order of the people in Papua is very important to create a safe and peaceful Papua.

Head of the Public Relations Task Force of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., had a face-to-face meeting with religious figures, academics, customs, and intellectuals in Jayapura City on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

In the meeting, the strategic role of the figures in creating a safe and harmonious Papua was discussed.

After the activity, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo said that the peace and comfort of a region cannot be separated from the active involvement of the figures in creating a conducive situation.

“We know together that with the full support of these figures in Papua, the hope is to create a peaceful and harmonious Papua,” he said.

The meeting went smoothly and full of familiarity and produced a joint commitment to keep Papua safe and peaceful. This momentum is also an occasion to strengthen the synergy between security forces and Papuan figures in maintaining the mass office.
