Strengthening Synergy, Head of Public Relations Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz Meets with Head of Bintang Mountains Customary Council
Oksibil, 12 February 2025 – The Head of Public Relations Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., held a meeting with the Head of the Bintang Mountains Customary Council, Mr. Angel Uropmabin, in Oksibil, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains Province.
Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo was warmly welcomed by Mr. Angel Uropmabin.
In the meeting, Commissioner Yusuf emphasized that this visit aimed to establish good communication between security personnel and customary leaders in order to create a conducive public order and safety situation in the Bintang Mountains area.
“The role of customary leaders is very important in maintaining security and public order in the Bintang Mountains Regency,” said Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Bintang Mountains Customary Council, Mr. Angel Uropmabin, expressed his support for the presence of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in maintaining security stability in the Bintang Mountains area.
“We are grateful to the Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 and the TNI-Polri personnel who have provided security guarantees for the community in the Bintang Mountains Regency. We greatly appreciate the efforts that have been made,” said Angel Uropmabin.
This meeting is expected to further strengthen the synergy between security personnel and customary communities in creating a safe and peaceful atmosphere in the Bintang Mountains Regency.
