Psychological Training Strengthens Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 Personnel’s Mental Readiness in Timika
Mimika – A different atmosphere filled the Timika Sector Post on Thursday (6/2) as Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 personnel participated in a psychological training session led by the Psychology Team of the Health Subtask Force, Banops Task Force Damai Cartenz-2025.
Led by *Ipda Amelia Mega Kartika Kawilarang, S.Psi., and Ipda Moh. Arsyad Hafid Affandy, S.Psi.*, the training aimed to strengthen mental resilience, teamwork, and focus among personnel in facing operational challenges.
Participants were divided into two teams:
1. *Belukar 65*, led by Ipda Ari Barudin
2. *Belukar 66*, led by Ipda Hendri
Each team competed in a series of challenges designed to enhance mental endurance and team cohesion, including:
– *Guessing police terms*, particularly related to Brimob functions, to sharpen knowledge and preparedness.
– *A ball-in-the-box competition*, testing agility and team coordination.
– *Picking up chopsticks with the nose*, a fun yet focus-enhancing challenge that sparked laughter.
– *Carrying the team commander to the finish line*, symbolizing team solidarity and strength in facing duties.
According to *Ipda Amelia*, this type of training plays a crucial role in maintaining personnel’s mental condition.
“In the field, mental resilience is just as important as technical skills. We want to ensure they remain solid and motivated,” she stated.
Meanwhile, *Wakaops Damai Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum.,* praised the event and emphasized the importance of psychological well-being for personnel.
“They face heavy challenges. We want to ensure they are always in their best condition, both physically and mentally, to perform optimally,” he said.
The training concluded with the announcement of the winners, with *Team Belukar 65 emerging victorious*. With heightened morale, Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 personnel are now more prepared to carry out their duties with unity and confidence.
