Enhance Readiness and Morale: Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 Personnel Face Unique and Exciting Challenges
Mimika– An unusual scene unfolded at the Timika Sector Post on Thursday (6/2) as Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 personnel participated in a psychological training session organized by the Psychology Team of the Health Subtask Force, Banops Task Force, Ops Damai Cartenz-2025.
This training was led by Ipda Amelia Mega Kartika Kawilarang, S.Psi., and Ipda Moh. Arsyad Hafid Affandy, S.Psi., aiming to strengthen the mental resilience, teamwork, and focus of personnel assigned to the operation area.
During the session, participants were divided into two teams:
1. Belukar 65, led by Ipda Ari Barudin
2. Belukar 66, led by Ipda Hendri
Both teams competed in a series of engaging challenges designed to enhance mental endurance and teamwork, including:
– Guessing police terminology, specifically related to Brimob functions, to sharpen knowledge and readiness.
– A ball-into-box competition, training agility and team coordination.
– Picking up chopsticks with the nose, a fun yet concentration-enhancing challenge.
– Carrying the team commander to the finish line, symbolizing unity and team strength in overcoming challenges.
Ipda Amelia Mega Kartika Kawilarang emphasized the importance of psychological training like this.
“In the field, mental strength is just as crucial as combat skills. We want to ensure that every personnel remains resilient, solid, and highly motivated.”
Meanwhile, Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 Deputy Commander, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., appreciated the initiative and reaffirmed that personnel’s psychological well-being is a top priority.
“Their duties are demanding. We want them to stay in peak condition, both physically and mentally, to perform optimally.”
This event demonstrated that building mental resilience doesn’t always require intense training. Through unique and exciting challenges, personnel learned, laughed, and strengthened their camaraderie.
The training concluded with the announcement of scores, where Team Belukar 65 emerged victorious. With renewed spirit, Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 personnel are ready to carry out their duties with confidence and solidarity.
