“Bripda Annisa: A Bridge of Harmony Between the Police and the People of Papua Through Economy”

Timika, Papua – The abundant natural wealth of Papua has become one of the main strengths for its people. The Mama Papuas, with dedication and hard work, manage their fresh and nutritious agricultural produce to sell in the market.
In the midst of the bustling traditional market in Mimika Regency on February 1, 2025, Bripda Annisa was seen interacting warmly with the vendors. She listened to their stories and challenges, where each step was not only an effort to meet their needs but also a hope for the future of their children. The sincerity and fighting spirit of the Mama Papuas were clearly reflected on their faces.
Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., serving as the Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Ops Damai Cartenz-2025, emphasized that the Indonesian National Police (Polri) is committed to supporting the crucial food security initiatives in Papua. According to him, the presence of the Police is not limited to security matters but also plays a role in improving the welfare of the local community.
“Polri strives to contribute to realizing food security in Papua to support the welfare of the people and bring peace to the beloved land of Papua,” explained Kombes Pol. Yusuf.
With collaboration from various parties, the hope for the development of Papua’s agricultural products becomes increasingly realistic, aiming to provide broader benefits for the community and strengthen food security. This initiative not only drives the local economy but also becomes part of a larger effort to sustain peace and prosperity in Papua.
