Ops Damai Cartenz Personnel Encourage Yalimo Residents to Maintain Health and Create Peace

Yalimo – In an effort to support public health while strengthening the relationship between security forces and residents, Police Brigadier Muhammad Adharmansyah Rumakat, who is from Balikpapan and serves in the 2025 Ops Damai Cartenz Task Force, held an interactive activity with residents in Yalimo Regency on Thursday (30/1/2025).

This activity focused on the importance of maintaining health amid existing challenges, inviting residents to continue implementing healthy lifestyles and adhering to prevailing health protocols. Additionally, this activity served as a means to improve good communication between security forces and the community, which is expected to create a safe and harmonious atmosphere.

In this opportunity, Brigadier Adhar spoke directly with local residents, advising them to maintain cleanliness, consume nutritious food, and engage in physical activities that can boost the immune system. “We want to remind residents to always maintain their health and be disciplined in applying a healthy lifestyle. A healthy condition is the first step towards a better and safer life,” said Brigadier Adharmansyah.

The head of the Ops Damai Cartenz-2025 Public Relations Task Force, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, emphasized that this activity has two main objectives. First, to create a safe condition for the community by maintaining health together, and second, to build better communication between the police and the community.

“Through activities like this, we want to strengthen the relationship between the security forces and the community. Building peace and creating a healthy and safe environment is our priority. We hope the synergy formed can bring positive impacts to the lives of people in the Papua Highlands,” said Police Commissioner Yusuf.

Besides providing health advice, this activity also showed that the presence of security forces is not only focused on law enforcement but also on joint efforts to achieve a more prosperous life. It is hoped that the peace and good communication that has been established will further strengthen the bond between residents and security forces in the Papua Highlands.
