Abisai Rollo Calls on Papuan People to Preserve Unity and Peace

Jayapura – Papuan community leader, Abisai Rollo, has called on all layers of society in Papua to continue preserving unity and peace as part of the Indonesian nation. This message was conveyed by Abisai in a statement that inspires a spirit of nationalism, amid the challenges still faced by the region.

“As part of the Indonesian nation, we have a collective responsibility to maintain unity and peace, not only in Papua but throughout the archipelago. Our differences should strengthen us, not divide us. Let us respect each other and collaborate to build a better Papua,” said Abisai Rollo in an exclusive interview.

Abisai also expressed high appreciation for the role of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) in maintaining security and order in Papua. According to him, the security efforts of these two institutions have provided a sense of safety for the community and supported the stability needed for the region’s development.

“We deeply appreciate the tireless efforts of TNI and Polri in ensuring security in Papua. They are not only maintaining peace but also fostering trust between the community and security forces. We hope this cooperation continues for a safer and more prosperous Papua,” Abisai added.

Abisai Rollo urged all elements of Papuan society to actively contribute to creating a harmonious environment and to support government efforts to improve the welfare of the region.

With a spirit of togetherness, Abisai hopes Papua can become a model region that reflects unity in diversity and peace that can be felt by all Indonesian citizens.
