Jayapura – religious leader in the land of Papua, Pastor Yohanes Jonga Pr asked all parties to maintain the unity and integrity of the nation on December 1st.

“Let this December moment, the Papuan people prepare themselves to welcome Christmas and welcome the new year, so that it will be more peaceful, more joyful, and strengthen unity between people,” he explained.
Moreover, now that the Papuan people have finished holding the regional elections, without any friction, they must continue to protect the land of Papua as a land of peace.
“Let the promises of the regional head candidates who have won be able to commit and make Papua a peaceful and harmonious reality,” he explained.
Including supporters who feel that their support has won, don’t fight against each other, beat them or even kill them.
“Let’s protect this land by remaining harmonious and supporting each other. “Don’t let a group of people make us divided and not united,” he said.
