Papua Deputy Police Chief Monitors Implementation of 2024 Simultaneous Regional Election Voting in Mimika

Mimika – Deputy Chief of Police for Papua Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani monitored the ballot voting process at a number of polling stations (TPS) in Mimika Regency, Central Papua Province, Wednesday (27/11/2024).
From Seputarpapua.com’s observations, monitoring activities were carried out by the Deputy Chief of Police accompanied by Mimika Police Chief AKBP I Komang Budiartha, Dandim 1710/Mimika Lt. Col. Inf Mochammad Slamet Wijaya, together with the Head of the Mimika District Prosecutor’s Office (Kajari) Conny Novita Sahetapy Engel.
Monitoring began at TPS 14 which is on Jalan Cenderawasih, Timika Indah Village, Mimika Baru District. The group then continued monitoring towards the Kwamki Narama District at TPS 01, the Kampung Damai pilot.
At that location, Brigadier General Faizal met the Chairman of the Mimika KPU, Dete Abugau, who was also monitoring together with his team.
After that, the group moved to Karya Kencana Village, Kuala Kencana District to check TPS 01 Karya Kencana. Then the monitoring ended on Jalan Hasanuddin, Inauga Village, Wania District, precisely at TPS 07, RT 07, Jalan Henggi.
