Jayapura – Chairman of the Papua Province Regional Representative Council (Deparda) for Panca Marga Youth and Chairman of the Red and White Front of the Republic of Indonesia, Jayapura City, Niko Mauri, expressed his appreciation to the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation Task Force for its important role in maintaining security in Papua.
Niko assessed that the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force had succeeded in providing a sense of security for the Papuan people from the threat of Armed Criminal Groups (KKB) and Political Criminal Groups (KKP).
In his statement in Jayapura on Wednesday, September 4 2024, Niko Mauri said that the presence of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force had carried out its duties well in protecting the Indonesian people and state in Papua.
He emphasized that the efforts made by the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force convinced the Papuan people to live peacefully and continue their daily activities without interference from irresponsible groups.
“I give full appreciation to the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force which has so far dedicated itself to the nation and state in the land of Papua. The presence of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force has enabled the community to carry out their daily activities calmly without interference from the KKB group and KKP,” said Niko Mauri.
Responding to this appreciation, Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, Police Commissioner. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., stated that the existence of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force in Papua is part of the government’s efforts to create a safe and peaceful Papua.
Police Commissioner. Dr. Bayu Suseno added that the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force was able to overcome various security disturbances, including acts of violence committed by the KKB and KKP, thereby creating a conducive situation that supports the implementation of development programs in Papua.
