Jayapura – The Public Relations Task Force of Operasi Damai Cartenz 2024 held a meeting with local media representatives in Jayapura on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The event aimed to strengthen relationships and align perspectives in support of the ongoing operations under Operasi Damai Cartenz 2024. The meeting, which took place at Café Resistance in Dok 2, Jayapura, was led by Brigadier Ita Sombo Allo.
Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., the Head of Public Relations for Operasi Damai Cartenz 2024, emphasized the importance of the meeting, highlighting the critical role of collaboration between the police and the media in delivering accurate information to the public.
“Cooperation between the police and the media is vital in maintaining security and peace in the Papua region, especially within the context of Operasi Damai Cartenz,” said Dr. Suseno.
Brigadier Ita Sombo Allo also took the opportunity to express gratitude to the journalists for their active contributions in supporting the police, particularly in covering the activities of Operasi Damai Cartenz 2024.
“The participation of our media colleagues has been instrumental in helping us communicate with the public. We hope this cooperation continues to flourish,” she remarked.
The meeting concluded with a discussion and Q&A session between the task force team and the journalists, addressing various current issues related to security in Papua. It is hoped that through this meeting, the synergy between the police and the media will continue to strengthen, ensuring that the primary goal of Operasi Damai Cartenz 2024—establishing security and order in Papua—is successfully achieved.
