Papua- Youth leader Bumi Cenderawasih admitted that he was very grateful for the official status that Papua has as an integral part that cannot be separated from the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
Ali Kabiay, as one of the youth leaders in Papua, is of the view that the integration and status of the Land of Papua as an integral part of this nation is a path that has been destined and is the most beautiful gift from God Almighty. Therefore, according to him, the position of Bumi Cenderawasih as an integral part of the Republic of Indonesia should be able to continue to be maintained as best as possible by all parties, especially the indigenous Papuan people.
Furthermore, this Papuan youth leader also said that the issue of Papuan independence, which has been continuously intensified by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), certainly cannot be a guarantee for the welfare of all indigenous Papuan people themselves.
This is because the issue of Papuan independence is certainly not the desire of the indigenous Papuan people, but only a political interest that continues to be driven by separatist groups, so that it seems as if the actions they are carrying out are in the name of the people of Bumi Cenderawasih for the welfare of the people. “In fact, in fact, many of the KKB’s actions were simply acts of violence and barbarity for the sake of their own group’s interests,” he said.
He reiterated that the many sadistic and inhumane acts carried out by the KKB, including the burning of public facilities such as hospitals and markets, which in fact, with these actions, the terrorist gang will only further hamper the development efforts that have been intensified by the Government in Indonesia. Papua, including efforts to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR).
In this regard, Papuan youth leaders strongly condemn the various heinous acts and actions carried out by the KKB and invite the entire community to work together to fight gangs that are contrary to state ideology and focus on advancing the Land of Papua.
“Not only is it hampering the Government’s development efforts, but what the KKB has been doing so far has actually destroyed several things that have been built and were able to have a very positive impact on the people of Papua,” he said.
All people in Papua are currently very grateful for the status that Bumi Cenderawasih is an integral part that cannot be separated from the Republic of Indonesia. This is not just a fantasy, but it is a reality. This is evident from the special tension that the Government continues to pursue in development in the Land of Papua.
In fact, so far, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has had a very high intensity of direct visits to Papua, thus showing the Government’s love for the Earth of Cenderawasih. This love is also proven by other things, in the form of the Government’s main focus on making the eastern region of Indonesia one of the priorities in the development program agenda being carried out.
