Papuan people reject separatism, Papua is an integral part of the Republic of Indonesia

Jayapura- Indonesia as an archipelagic country with cultural and ethnic diversity, has a long history that binds all regions into one unit, including Papua. Papua, which is located at the eastern tip of Indonesia, plays an important role in this diversity.

For this reason, there is no place or opportunity for the Separatist Group to separate Papua from Indonesia.

The Papuan people are what strengthens national unity. For this reason, the Papuan people strongly reject the separatist movement which tends to trigger violence and harm the local community. They want peace, development and prosperity for future generations.

Many of them also think that the Separatist Movement or KKB must be disbanded so that Papua can become a developed province along with other provinces in Indonesia. Because the presence of these Separatists will only hinder everything that the Central and Regional Government will do.
