Workers of the West Beoga Health Center Construction Project, Kp. Jambul, West Beoga District, Puncak Regency attacked by KKB Intan Jaya led by Aibon Kogoya

Ilaga- Intan Jaya KKB led by Aibon Kogoya attacked five workers of the Puskesmas construction project located in West Beoga, Kamp. Jambul, West Beoga District, Puncak Regency, on Friday (11/24/2023).

Head of the Public Relations Task Force AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno SH, S.I.K, M.M, M.H confirmed the existence of the incident

“It is true that there was an attack in Beoga Puncak District, on Friday afternoon at around 15.00 WIT.” Bayu said

The KKB attack was allegedly carried out by the Intan Jaya KKB led by Aibon Kogoya.

“From the results of witness testimony, this action was allegedly carried out by the Aibon Kogoya Group. They attacked using firearms and machetes against 5 (Five) workers / construction workers.” Bayu added.

The attack resulted in 3 (three) people MD and 2 (two) people survived.

Bayu detailed the identity of the victims of the KKB attack “The Death and Injury Victims are as follows:
Death Victims:
1) Name: Suyanto
Age: 40 years old
Religion : Islam
Origin : Java

• died from gunshot wounds to the head 1x, gunshot wounds to the left arm 2x

2) Name : Satiman
Age : 40 years old
Religion : Islam
Origin : Java

• died from gunshot wounds to the right temple 1x, gunshot wounds to the left forearm 2x

3) Name: Triyono
Age : 50 years
Religion : Islam
Origin : Java

• died as a result of gunshot wounds at the end of the right eye 1x, machete slash on the back of the neck, machete slash on the middle back, machete slash on the right shoulder through the back, machete slash on the right shoulder

1) Name: Nurali
Age : 52 years old
Religion : Islam
Origin : Java

2) Name : Alfian Pratasis
Age : 30 years old
Religion : Christian
Origin : Bitung, North Sulawesi

Bayu further explained that information on this incident began at around 16.30 WIT, one of the people with the initials “IM” had reported to Koramil 1717-03 / Beoga that at approximately 15.00 WIT at the West Beoga Health Center construction project, Kp. Jambul, West Beoga District, Kab. Puncak there was an attack by the Intan Jaya KKB led by Aibon Kogoya.

Then at 16.50 WIT, Danramil 1717-03/Beoga and members, Beoga Police and members of the Beoga Post of Task Force YR 300, and Brimob Den A Kota Raja, Jayapura, picked up the people who evacuated the victims of the attack at the meeting point of Julukoma Village, Beoga District.

Then at approximately 18.00 WIT, the evacuation group of victims of the attack arrived at the Beoga Health Center, Milawak Village, Beoga District with 3 (three) bodies and 2 (two) survivors.

The motive for them to attack these workers was to ask for some money from the construction project workers in Ilaga.

“Currently, we will evacuate the dead and injured victims to Timika,” added Bayu.

Regarding the situation in the Beoga area, Bayu stated that the situation was under control.

“The current situation in Beoga is monitored in a controlled state. And currently the TNI Polri is still pursuing and sweeping the IntanJaya KKB group,” concluded Bayu.
