Puskesmas building workers attacked by KKB in Beoga, three killed and two injured

Puncak – The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) returned to action by attacking civilians in Jumbul Village, West Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua on Friday (24/11).

From the data received, a number of construction workers working on the Community Health Center were attacked by an Armed Criminal Group at around 16.15 WIT.

Puncak Police Chief, Commissioner I Nyoman Punia confirmed the incident.

He said the attack left three people dead and two others managed to save themselves.

“The information we received was that three people died and two people were injured. All the victims who died and survived have been evacuated to Beoga District,” said Puncak Police Chief when confirmed on Friday (24/11) evening.

“The two survivors are still receiving intensive care at the Beoga Community Health Center,” he continued.

The Police Chief admitted that efforts to evacuate the victims were fierce, because the joint TNI-Polri team was shot at by KKB when they were evacuating the victims.

“Earlier, during the evacuation of victims, our members were shot at. But in the end, the members managed to evacuate the victims to Beoga,” he explained.
