Jayapura- Papuan religious figure, Rev. Niko Mauri condemned the murder of women and children activist, Michelle Kursi Doga, committed by the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Lanny Jaya Regency-Papua Mountains on August 31, 2023.
When met at his residence on Friday 14/09/2023, he said, by looking at the behavior of the KKB group who acted barbarically by killing a Papuan female figure, it was very outrageous.
Rev. Niko Mauri, who is also the Chairman of Barisan Merah Putih (BMP) Jayapura City, reiterated that what was done by the KKB was very disgraceful. “This is how the struggle carried out by this KKB and on behalf of Papuans who How”.
“We support the Police in this case the Papua Police to be firm in taking action and law enforcement against this KKB” he said.
Rev. Niko Mauri also hopes that there will be the formation of a new Polda in the New Autonomous Region in Papua so that the Government in this right through the Police can provide security guarantees to a better community.
