Jayapura – Papua Police Chief, Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, S.I.K. led the Inauguration Ceremony for the Extraordinary Rank Increase of Papua Police Officer Aipda Laode Imran, Monday (11/9/2023) morning.
The ceremony, which was held at the Apel field of the New Police Headquarters Koya Koso, Jayapura City, was also attended by key officials, including the Deputy Chief of Police of Papua, Brigadier General Pol Ramdani Hidayat, S.H and all members of the Papua Police.
The promotion ceremony was held as a form of appreciation from the Papua Police to Laode Imran, so that he was promoted one level higher from Bripka to Aipda.
In his mandate, the Papua Police Chief expressed his gratitude to God for the opportunity to carry out an extraordinary promotion ceremony for members of the Papua Police.
He reminded that one month ago, the Papua Police had celebrated a similar ceremony for a member of the Police, and today again received the trust of the National Police Headquarters to carry out the ceremony.
“This is an extraordinary achievement for the Papua Police, where the leadership of the National Police still gives extraordinary attention to those of us who are on duty in the eastern tip of Indonesia,” he said.
Inspector General Fakhiri also emphasized that this extraordinary promotion is not only given to members on duty in the field, but also to members who act as staff, as long as they can innovate and provide breakthroughs in improving services to the community.
“I believe colleagues have more abilities that can be developed. Please hone and continue to develop your abilities to become even better Police personnel,” said Fakhiri.
The Papua Police Chief also congratulated Aipda Laode Imran who was promoted in appreciation for his service and sacrifice when he was hit by an arrow in the neck while securing the riots in Dogiyai on July 14, 2023. He hopes that the promotion will be a motivation for Aipda Laode Imran to continue to improve the quality of his service to the community.
In addition, the Kapolda also reminded all personnel of the great challenges and risks of life faced in carrying out tasks in Papua.
