Jayapura – The Chairman of the Osea Gunung Bintang Group handed over the long-barreled SS1 V1 Firearms made by Pindad owned by the Gunung Bintang Police.

The Head of Public Relations said the discovery started on Friday (28/07/2023) when the witness was fishing in the river halfway between Kampung Iwur and Dipol.

When he pulled out his fishing rod, the witness was shocked because the fishing rod was attached to the long barrel gun.
“The witness secured the rifle and then reported it to the Iwur sub-sector police,” said the Head of Public Relations.
Furthermore, the Head of Public Relations said that after reporting it, the personnel of the Iwur sub-sector Pol.
“After being matched, the gun was a weapon brought by Alm. Brigadier Posthumous Steven Randongkir at the time of the accident the bridge broke and was washed away in the Digoel River on January 28, 2023,” he said.
