Dekai – The Yahukimo District Police conducted a crime scene investigation into the murder that occurred on Jalan Gunung Dekai, Yahukimo Regency, Thursday (27/7/23).
Yahukimo Police Chief AKBP Arief Kristanto confirmed this, saying that he had received complaints from the public who came to report to the Cartenz Peace Action Sekla Post that there had been the murder of 1 (one) member of the community who had been stabbed.
“At that time, at 12:30 the personnel were carrying out guarding activities at the post as usual and received information about a complaint about a person experiencing stabbing. For this report, the function picket along with the guard members and members of the Cartenz Damai Task Force headed to the TKP which was on Jalan Gunung to check the incident report. and when the members arrived at the TKP, they saw a male body which was found lying prone and covered with a raincoat with the initial N.” Said the Chief of Police.
The Head of Police continued to explain that we had carried out a TKP examination and then examined witnesses who were at the incident location.
“Currently, members of the Criminal Investigation Unit have committed crime TKP processing and taken the victim to Dekai Hospital for a medical examination, we have conducted an examination for witnesses,” said the Chief of Police.
