Polres Peak Security for Distribution of Assistance

Jayapura – The Puncak Resort Police secured the distribution of goods and basic necessities from the Puncak Regency Government for the Agandugume and Lambewi Districts, Central Papua, which were experiencing drought.

Also attending the event were the Regent of Puncak Regency, Wilem Wandik, S.E. M.Si, Head of Puncak Police Commissioner I Nyoman Punia, S. Sos, Regional Secretary of Puncak Regency Ir. Darwin, L. Tobing, M.M, Head of the Puncak Regency Kominfo Service Ricky Siwi, Head of Intelligence and Security Unit of the Puncak Police Ipda I Putu Dhyana, S.H.

Puncak Regent Willem Wandik, SE, M.Si flew using the Reven Global Air Transport PK RVV aircraft which took off from Mozes Kilangin Timika Airport to Agandume airport, Puncak Regency to deliver food aid, Saturday (29/07/2023).

The aid that was brought consisted of 1 drum of fuel, 400 kilograms of food aid from the TNI Commander and 200 kilograms of food aid from the Peak Government.

After carrying out security, the Puncak Police Chief said that the people in the Agandume District had been waiting for the plane to arrive and land at Agandume Airport.

“The security situation in the Agandume District is very safe and in the future other than Reven aircraft are expected to land at the airport,” said the Chief of Puncak Police.

“The community has said that this area is safe because they are ready to maintain security for aircraft and medical personnel who will serve in the two districts, so I ask airlines, please just enter this area to deliver aid,” he added.
