Timika – Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy paid a working visit to Dogiyai Regency, Central Papua Province.
During his visit to Dogiyai District, Muhadjir monitored priority programs in the field of human development, especially eradicating extreme poverty and reducing stunting rates.
On that occasion, the Coordinating Minister for PMK was accompanied by the Deputy for Emergency Handling of BNPB Major General TNI Fajar Setyawan, as well as officials from the Coordinating Ministry for PMK. Besides that, the Dogiyai Regent Yakobus Dumupa, Forkopimda Kab. Dogiyai, Dandim, Kapolres, and community leaders.
Apart from that, his party also took the time to visit the locations of residents’ houses that had experienced fires, as well as providing assistance packages from the Ministry of Social Affairs and BNPB and having dialogue with elements of the Regional Government of Dogiyai Regency, DPRD Kab. Dogiyai, Dandim, Polres.
“Today I am coordinating with the Regency, Provincial Government and Community Elements, especially religious leaders, Pastors, Pastors, Ustad to collaborate together to rebuild and restore the economic conditions of the people in Dogiyai Regency,” Muhadjir said after conducting a dialogue at the Dogiyai Regent’s office.
From the results of this discussion, several problems and obstacles to the program were found in Dogiyai which solutions will later be sought for, so that in the future the collaborative efforts of the central government and regional governments will be more massive to build synergies to accelerate the implementation of these priority programs in the regions.
Coordinating Minister Muhadjir said that he had asked the ranks of the security apparatus along with the local government and religious leaders in Dogiyai Regency to strengthen each other and work hand in hand in carrying out security, especially for the continuation of priority programs in the field of human development in Kab. Dogiyai.
Various obstacles related to the central government and which cannot be overcome by the local government, are the concern of the central government to find a solution.
