Jayapura – The actions of the armed criminal group (KKB) in Papua have deeply disturbed civilians in Papua and it is known that KKB is acting in Nduga and Yahukimo districts, Papua Mountains, as well as in Intan Jaya district, Central Papua.
The Head of Ops Damai Cartenz, Kombes Faizal Ramadhani, said that the handling of the KKB in three districts in Highlands Papua and Central Papua continues to be carried out.
“This has become our concern for guarding and increasing vigilance, although until now we have not found any connection with one another,” said Faizal.
In addition, the TNI-Polri apparatus continues to strengthen troops in Yahukimo and carry out high-scale patrols in other areas and continues to try to take anticipatory steps to avoid casualties.
Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri suspects that the shooter was Yotam Bugiangge who is a dismissed member of the TNI and has joined Egianus Kogoya.
