The National Police are enthusiastic about maintaining the safe implementation of regional elections in the Land of Papua

Timika- Polri strives to provide the best service through security in holding regional elections in the Land of Papua.

In this case, many activities or stages have been implemented. Such as, Tactical Gloor Game (TFG) and also City Security System simulation (Sispamkota).

As in Kab. Mimika, Prov. Central Papua Police Chief Mimika AKBP I Komang Budiartha said that the simulation involved around 300 personnel from all existing agencies.

Apart from that, he added that the simulation indicated the Mimika Police’s readiness to carry out security measures for the 2024 regional elections in Mimika.

“Personnel who took part in this simulation from all agencies apart from the TNI-Polri also involved the Fire Department, Satpol PP, Health Service and Transportation Service,” he said.

According to the Police Chief, the aim of this simulation is so that each personnel will understand what must be done during security at each stage of the Pilkada.

“So that everyone understands what they have to do and what steps they have to take to anticipate disruptions to the Public Security and Order during the regional elections,” he said.
